Description:
This should print as a book... This is an interactive book I made to fit my shopping and food pyramid lessons. I tied it into Thanksgiving since it is next week. The book is based on Fall Basket. I made a giant poster board shopping cart and shopping list with the names of common Thanksgiving foods. Next to each food (on the right of the list) is a Google image of that type of food placed on the list with Velcro so it can be removed during the story. On the other side (left) of each food name is a white box. We laminated the list so we can check each food off with a dry erase marker as we read to show them how to use a list in the store. While reading, we take each picture of the food we have read about on that page and Velcro it in our giant cart. There are two food items from each section of the food pyramid
